Wow! It's been a while since I've used this page. I've changed a lot since I first uploaded, and have shifted careers entirely at this point. Still Jaxy though! New shades, same old car. Many people know me as a silly crow on the internet, but I'm also a human guy who's very passionate about creating and game development.
My itch.io is dedicated to cataloging old games and ideas that I never finished. They capture my sense of whimsy and wonder, so i won't be taking them down, though I will be pecking at them when I have the time between working at game studios.
Right now, I work for Casual Clam as a freelance animator. Before this year, at least two or three years before, I was the Lead Game Writer on Project Makeover for magic tavern.
I'm adamantly anti-ai and choose to remain that way as creativity can (and should) only be made by things that can feel and suffer.
You'll find a sprinkling of existential horror amongst my catalogue, as I studied Lovecraftian horror in college, but threw myself into a whirlwind of other interests shortly after college. From horror to the absurd. Some of my favorite authors, Tom Lucas, Jack Kerouac, and many others mix a passion of realism into their work that I want to ascribe to.
When not participating in game jams or working, I play FromSoft Games, build Magic The Gathering decks, and host D&D at least once a fortnight. When the timing permits. And everyone's schedules align.
And the appropriate goat sacrifice has been made to Karl Ifrangoid the All-Smelling-Dark-Lord of Schedules and Friendships.
If you like what you see, let me know! It really helps the self-esteem.
